PAUL HARVEY DIES AT 90
PHOENIX -- February 28, 2009: Beloved and legendary radio personality Paul Harvey, whose career spanned 75 years, has died at age 90, at a hospital in Phoenix. No cause of death was immediately available. Harvey's wife of 68 years, Lynne "Angel" Harvey, died in May of last year.
Their son, Paul Harvey Jr., said in a statement, "My father and mother created from thin air what one day became radio and television news. So in the past year, an industry has lost its godparents, and today millions have lost a friend."
